Wow November has come and almost gone. It has hard to beleive that Christmas is just around the corner.... tis the season.

I am finally seeing some daylight. I just finished and annual meeting and report for our Association, but it was fun....lol... after it was finished. Now the shopping begins for Christmas. UGH! Oh well it is ok. I hope all of you have a great time as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. It is a very special time of the year, and I love it!

Golf is in the Air Weather: Mood: Tue Oct 9, 2007 15:19
We are about the start the Administaff Classic Golf Tournament. It is a PGA event. I am working in it this week. This PGA Tournment is played at Augusta Pines Golf Club. We are fortunate to live right there. Augsta Pines Link.

It is really a beautiful course. It will be a good reliefe. We have been so busy making preparations for my father-in-law estate. That will finally be coming to an end next month, but it has been lots of trips back and forth. So we have been pretty tired trying to do funeral plans, settle the estate, and etc. Lots of no fun junk... but oh well that is part of life too.

Hope you guys are all doing well. I am still on the prowl unting for Funky! LOL

Wow It has been forever since I have been here, but funky reminded me I needed to update.

Brenda is doing much better from her fall off the horse. She did discover that she had osteoperosis, and is having to take a new type of drug which is given by shot everyday for two years which is kind of a bummer, but it is actually supposed to rebuild bone density wtihout the side effects of other drugs. So we shall see....

It was Great to see my buddy Funky back online. I missed her! She has a lot of wisdom for her age! So I was glad to hear from her.

Well It has been a while. Brenda was thrown off a big ol' Quarter Horse on Mar 3, and I have been pushing her around in a wheel chair ever since, going between doctors, two weeks in the hospital, and all that fun stuff. She is much better now, so I am hoping to get back in the swing of things before too long. Besides I have not been able to keep Cailet in line. lol As if she needed any help. hehehe

We are really spoiled with nice weather all year round, but this last week we acutally had ice here. It was about 10 years ago that we had it. lol I guess we were due. I does cut into my golf game though... it is hard to get out there with the temps so low, and raining every day. I am ready to see a little sun. I am beginning to feel like we live in the UK or Portland, Or. lol
I really don't have anything to complain about. I talked with my dad today in Amarillo and it was snowing like crazy, with 7 inches already on the ground, and 23 Degrees f. lol No Thanks!!!
I caught the flu over the holidays, and am finally on the tail end of it. It was nasty for about 10 days. My ribs hurt because I have been coughing so deeply. It has pretty much subsided now, but my ribs still hurt, and my cough while still present is not deep, nor freqent like it was.
Oh well hope all of you guys had a great holiday time, and now plugged into a blessed new year. Gotta run!

Wow everyone is trying to find that perfect gift. LOL It is tough. I think one of the gifts at our house is going to be a set of stairs to have access to the attic above our garage! Sexy huh? hehehe Very much needed,however :D
I am still going to sing the Mustard Seed Cretions praises. I have gotten several of their tiles, and they are sooooo cool. And you can have them Customized to suite your needs which is pretty cool. They price is reasonable too... which means cheap in my book. Anytime you can get a nice gift for less than 20 bucks, I like it! Ok so call me a cheap skate. lol

Well I checked my blog, and the spammers hit it too. I had like 2800 responses, all pharmacutical advertising. Loosers. I will have to put this up so only members can respond. Oh well such is life on the net.
It turned down right cold here. We had freezing temperatures last night, and it will be close to that tonight. brrrrr.
It sure cuts into my golf game..lol
At least it is not in Amarillo, Where they had 10 degrees and 8 in of snow. Now baby that is cold!

Wow what a beautiful day we had. We had 10 inches of rain on thursday night, all kinds of flooding, and it was kind of cloudy on Friday, but Not today! It was fantastic!
We went to vote, and got that out of the way. We also went and bought horse stuff. Riding pants, crops etc. lol Brenda really did need another pair I guess.
We just got through watching Texas Tech loose a 21 point lead over Texas. What dummies.
Our church is having a Harvest Fellowship Tuesday night as a safe alternative to Halloween. It is sad that so many people do mean things so kids are not 100% safe going door to door.

Wow we have had some wonderful Weather! It is finally cooler. I am loving it. I loved it so much I played golf 3x this week! hehehehe.

I am working at the PGA Senior tour this weekend. Administaff Classic with Arnold Palmer It has been fun to see all those old guys play.

Well better run have to get to the golf course to work today. Yall have a great weekend!

Finally Cooler Weather: Mood: Sun Oct 8, 2006 13:46
Wow today is gorgeous, and finally cooler! Only 64 degrees last night! Better than 85 LOL . It was 93 on Friday! So we are bit ready for a little cooler weather.

I am working at the Champions Tour next week. It will be fun. This is the 3rd or 4th year that I have been out there to work. It is always fun to see the great golfers of yesterday playing so well in their 60's & 70's

Johnny Bench and Roger Clemens, along with some of the greatest athletes in sports and entertainment, are joining forces to raise money for charity in a special addition to the Administaff Small Business Classic. I will be looking forward to seeing those guys play too.

Arnold Palmer has been playing in these for the past few years. I am not sure if he will play this year, but since he is the official spokesman for Administaff I am sure he will be around there. It will be fun. If you are in the Houston area come out and see the tournament.

Psssst.... I have free passes for Cailet and hubby if they show!
